Have you ever wanted to make your own clothes or home accessories? Maybe you have seen a pattern in a magazine or book and wanted to try it out, but didn’t know where to start? In this time of ‘make do and mend’, I aim to teach you how to sew so that you will be able to make those patterns and many more.

Sewing is such a fun pastime and a relaxing way to spend a few hours, if you can make the time. It is great to be able to accessorize your home with cushions, curtains, bunting and maybe even a scented hanging heart or two, but if you have made them yourself it is even better!

I enjoy taking old fabric or upcycling old clothes and turning them into new and beautiful items. It is good for the environment and so cheap.

Whether it is a simply cushion cover, a zippered pouch or a dress, it is all possible once you have mastered the basic skills and I can’t wait to teach you.
